Jonathan P. Floyd concentrates his efforts on consumer class actions and complex litigation. Jonathan’s practice includes helping consumers navigate and litigate the myriad consumer and financial services laws, with a particular emphasis on the many “alphabet soup” federal consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Jonathan is also experienced with a variety of state consumer protection laws and regularly litigates actions arising under the Virginia Consumer Protection Act (VCPA) and the West Virginia Consumer Credit Protection Act (WVCCPA).
Jonathan has experience in all phases of complex litigation, including serving as lead trial counsel in multiple state and federal courts where he has secured favorable resolutions and judgments for his clients.
Prior to founding Floyd Law, PC, Jonathan litigated consumer and commercial disputes for ten years at one of the 50 largest law firms in the United States. During this time, he successfully handled hundreds of individual and class action lawsuits in state and federal court across the country.
