Kevin K. Ross-Andino, Founder and Managing Partner
éclat Law, LLP
Kevin K. Ross-Andino, is the founder and managing partner of éclat Law, LLP, a general civil trial firm he started after spending over 20 years as a trial lawyer at well-respected international law firms. Kevin is an esteemed trial lawyer who has handled numerous complex civil lawsuits throughout the State of Florida, in 20 other states across our great nation, and has represented both foreign and domestic clients in international arbitration matters. He has represented individuals, investors, and small and large corporations (both as plaintiffs and defendants) in a wide array of topics over his 28-year career.
Recognized by his peers as an experienced civil trial lawyer capable of handling almost any civil matter for his clients, Kevin has chosen to focus his practice primarily on representing clients (individual and business entities) in consumer and employment- related class actions, civil rights matters, cases against governmental agencies, employment matters, land disputes, construction defect cases, homeowner association matters, and major transportation accidents (including wrongful death cases).
Kevin’s view of life and his legal career were substantially impacted by the loss of his son, who suffered from severe depression and hopelessness due to his losing fight with Chron’s Disease. This personal loss inspired Kevin to resign from his partnership and career at a major international law firm to create his own smaller law firm, éclat Law, in 2015. Poised to provide representation to everyone, especially those who cannot afford to hire an attorney, Kevin enjoys helping clients find justice in a world in which he believes that justice must be fought for.
Kevin and his wife, Katina do not limit their support of the community to practicing law; they are invested in serving the needs of the community both in and out of the courtroom. He has served as the Board Chair and President of Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, Inc., the largest non-profit organization that provides no-cost legal aid to the most vulnerable members of Central Florida counties, since 2018 after joining the board in 2017. He is a trustee for the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce and previously served as an executive board member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and the Hispanic Bar Association Foundation. He is also currently a committee member of the International Bar and a member of the American Bar Association, American Association of Justice, Florida Justice Association, Seminole County Bar Association, Seminole County Inns of Court, Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
Because community service is so important to Kevin, Katina, and their partners at éclat Law, he founded éclat Law’s Foundation for Community Action, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering the community through awareness of the causes of the firm’s civic partners, and investment in their individual visions. Through this foundation, Kevin and the dedicated lawyers and staff of éclat law created ART@éclat, the firm’s in-office art gallery which features the works of emerging artists in Florida and provides scholarships for local students pursuing the visual arts at the college level. The foundation also vehemently supports veterans’ organizations and local nonprofits.
Kevin has been recognized multiple times by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Attorney in Florida for Civil Rights and Social Action, a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer in Florida, a Top 25 Class Action Trial Lawyer, and a Top 10 National Latino Trial Lawyer, and has been nominated as Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite. He has been admitted to The Florida Bar, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and U.S. Tax Court.
He received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and economics from Vanderbilt University in 1989 and received his Jurist Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo - School of Law in 1994.
One of Kevin’s greatest passions in life is cooking and celebrating food with his family, friends, and members of Team éclat! Before making the final decision to attend law school, Kevin had focused on pursuing a career as a chef with a goal of one day owning his own restaurants. Although his passion for the law ultimately swayed him to become a lawyer, Kevin never stopped loving food or sharing his culinary talents!
